Sound Level Assessments & Liquor Licensing
Sound Level assessments may be required for a number of reasoning including Occupational Health and Safety and Compliance with Liquor Licensing requirements. Our Audiologists have a detailed knowledge of acoustics and can provide noise monitoring services using accredited state-of-the-art sampling and analysis methodologies.
The Liquor Licensing Act states that if a licensee intends to conduct amplified entertainment above 75 decibels at a new establishment, or if a licensee seeks to remove a current condition prohibiting or limiting amplified entertainment, they must provide a report from a qualified Audiologist or Sound Engineer. Our Audiologists have a unique background in both of these areas to ensure accurate and compliant measurement of your venue and also provide recommendations on how to comply with appropriate liquor licensing legislation.
