Welcome to the Cairns Audiology Group

Cairns Audiology Group is an independent, locally owned, private audiological practice servicing Cairns and surrounding regions. Cairns Audiology Group was formed in 2008 by Philippa Carter   and Gerard Del Favero with a view to providing the highest quality of audiological services and hearing rehabilitation options to the Far North Queensland region.


Our clinicians are all University qualified, Masters level Audiologists who are experienced in providing specialist services in all non-medical aspects of hearing healthcare tailored to reflect the local Far North Queensland lifestyle.


Cairns Audiology Group prides itself on being a fully independent private practice and delivering the highest level of audiological care locally. At our clinics we offer a wide range of audiological services including comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments for infants, children and adults as well as more specialised services such as on-site employee assessments, workplace testing and hearing conservation advice.


Being independent practice allows us to offer an extensive range of discrete to high powered hearing aids and assistive listening devices from a diverse range of product manufacturers and suppliers.


We also provide FREE to client (fully subsidised) fitting and servicing of hearing aids and assistive listening devices to eligible pensioners and veterans under the Commonwealth Hearing Services Program .


The Cairns Audiology Group currently operates clinics with monthly visitation to Innisfail, Mareeba and Mossman and 2 monthly clinics to Atherton.
